A smelter is not often thought of as a popular place for pretend play. But this munitions factory is a unique and detailed scenario for fans of Mega Bloks Dragons Metal Ages line of toys. There are 130 pieces in all and despite the pedigree from Mega Bloks and some assembly elements, its really more of a play set than a construction toy. The armory is where the Odaku are assembling the swords and shields and other munitions they plan to carry into battle and theres an assembly line where the munitions roll along as well as characters Scylla, Kraugn, and Arashi keeping an eye on things and a dungeon is provided, presumably for workers slacking off on the job. And of course a dragon, named Siann and highly poseable, is also included to add to the fun. We found a lot of nicely detailed pieces in the set and the choice of a play set based around manufacturing to be unorthodox yet appealing. --Charlie Williams
